Lake Ontario Wine Trail Pals,
We appreciate your continued support of local wineries, distilleries, and cideries, and all other local businesses as we navigate these unprecedented times. The Lake Ontario Wine Trail hosts three events a year, with our first event, Roll Out the Barrels scheduled for April 18th & 19th. As a result of ongoing concerns regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and the recommendations of state and local health departments, as well as the CDC, we have decided to cancel our April event. We don’t take this decision lightly, and we appreciate your understanding.
The Lake Ontario Wine Trail is made up of many local businesses that are already feeling the impact of these restrictions, but you can still support them! Support the trail by purchasing a LOWT Passport online here to explore the trail at your leisure. It’s good for 1 year from purchase, so there’s no rush to use it immediately. Many wineries, distilleries and cideries are also open for bottle sales, or even providing curbside pickup for all your wine/spirit/cider needs. Our members all have differing policies on their operations during this time, so please contact them directly for more information.
Mandates are changing rapidly, but above all, the health and safety of everyone is the highest priority. We appreciate all the support you have shown us over the years, we would not be here if it weren’t for you. We look forward to seeing you at our Sweet & Savory event on June 13th & 14th!
